Large format camera adapter | Status: testing pending
This projects stems from me buying a pre war 9x12 cm camera without film holders. After buying the holders I've come to realization that they're too thick for the camera. (the raiil in camera mesured 4.8mm and the holder 5.8mm) So I came up with this adapter. It moves the film plane back but camera's construction allows it to focus on infinity regardless.
First version, too tight of a fit to work with my camera and film holders.

Second version. Noticed some stuff about the film holder that made me re-think my approach. It's a partial re-design. I missed that changing the geometry messed up how thick the hole for the holder was, as resoult it didin't fit once again.
3rd version, this one ended up fitting, but required some persuasion with a knife to accept the holder. V3

I plan to use an acrylic rod coated with phosphorescence paint exited by UV laser.
Desk lamp restoration | Status: Work in progress
It wasn't recorded but I repainted the whole lamp. I've got a cable for it that I like, but can't find aesthetically fitting switch.
Canteen leather case | Status: Finished
First I've traced the canteen on the technical paper, then I cut out the templates created this way. Before cutting the leather I used liquid gum arabic to bind the paper with the leather. (Later I've heard that it's better to secure un-cut templates with paper tape, but my method also worked.) After that came sweing, by hand. The process was easy if a bit teadious at times. The whole thing took me about 5 days to finish. (Not 5 full days mind you, I was mostly doing it an an afterwork activity.)
